K-Peritia’s Introduction at UiT Workshop
On 16 January 2025, Max Steuer, a member of K-Peritia WG1 affiliated with O.P. Jindal Global University and Comenius University in Bratislava, introduced K-Peritia CA 22101 at the international workshop on Cross-Disciplinarity in Political Science: Research Insights and Perspectives held at The Arctic University of Norway, Tromsø (UiT). This workshop, supported by the Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions – Individual Fellowship and the Aurora Outstanding grant, brought together researchers from over ten countries, offering a platform to discuss interdisciplinary approaches in political science.
Dr Steuer’s participation provided an opportunity to present K-Peritia’s mission in advancing the concept of cultural expertise, highlighting its relevance in political science and beyond. His draft manuscript explored the interaction between cultural expertise and various conceptions of politics, emphasizing how qualitative methods can deepen the understanding of this relationship. The valuable feedback received during the workshop will contribute to refining the manuscript before it is submitted for peer review.
This output is based upon work from K-Peritia CA22101, supported by COST (European Cooperation in Science and Technology).
